Calcite
Calcite is a natural crystal that has
high birefringence and wide spectral transmission and available in
reasonably sized rhombus. Its Distinct features are as under:
1. Rapid and complete dispersion
2. Very Low abbrassion at high loading
3. Very low moisture content
4. Good compatibility with polymers and other additives
5. Better impact strength of polymer compound as compared to uncoated material.
